Why camp with Emberwood
We've lived and hosted in this valley for years. Our camps don't run on a generic checklist — the guide knows where the views are best at golden hour, which spring has the cleanest water, and how to read the weather on the pass. Combine the camp with a stay at Emberwood and you get the comfort of a hot shower and a real bed on either side of the camping night.
Frequently asked questions
Can you organise camping at Jalori Pass on short notice?
For 2–4 guests we usually need 48–72 hours to arrange tents, supplies and the guide. For groups of 8+ please plan at least a week ahead so we can confirm transport and the kitchen team.
What should I bring?
Layered warm clothing (it gets cold at night even in summer), trekking shoes with grip, a light backpack, a head-torch, sunscreen, and any personal medication. We provide everything else.
Is it safe for solo travellers and women?
Yes — we run mixed-group camps with a vetted guide and host present at all times. If you'd prefer a women-only camp we can put one together with advance notice.
